Blessing Boxes

Free little pantries, open 24 hours a day.

Take what you need. Leave what you can.Painted on every box

A Blessing Box is a small weatherproof cabinet on a post, stocked with free groceries. There is no lock, no sign-up, and no one watching. Open the door, take what your household needs, and if you have something to spare, leave it for the next person.

We build, repair, and restock about 20 boxes around Bristol so there is food within reach between giveaway Saturdays.

Want a box in your neighborhood?

We build them by hand.

If you have a spot with foot traffic and a property owner who says yes, we can build and install one. Here is how it happens, and how to say yes.

Three people run this. We need more hands.

Give a Saturday morning.

Helping a neighbor pick out groceries takes no experience, just two hands and a couple of hours. Can't come? Gas money keeps the van moving.
